Advanced Terrain Skiing
The original transition course towards all-terrain skiing.
Plenty of practice on the piste developing the skills required to transfer across to areas outside the piste markers.
The course looks at a variety of different skiing skills. Starting with an update and refresher on piste skiing which leads neatly on to developing pure carve turns.
We then make life a little lumpy and bumpy by exploring how to tackle mogul fields before introducing an easy off-piste element.
Technical and tactical tips throughout the sessions enable you to easily grasp the movements.
Book for the whole 4 day course or on a session by session basis (depending on availability).
Monday - Piste Performance
Finding your feet and skiing legs on the blues, reds and blacks.
A recap of general piste technique looking at balance, movements and speed control.
Tuesday - On the Edge
Edging parallel skiing into pure carving.Discover how to accurately steer and control the skis using the design of the ski itself.
Wednesday - Bumps
Building confidence and taking the fear out of the bumps to a level where they start to make sense.Thursday - All-Terrain Intro
An introduction to the basics of off-piste skiing.Adapting technique to ski a variety of terrain and snow conditions.
